Anyone that has a toddler running around the house or a little puppy knows how frustrating those store bought gates can be. No matter what you do, you can't get the tension rod tight enough if the kids are shaking it or the dog jumps up on it. Let's not even talk about how frustrating the latch systems on these things can be. They're a total nightmare!

So why not replace them with a solid wood gate that attaches directly to the door frame and is easy peasy to open and will stay in place for years to come?

All you need to do is measure the inside of your door frame. From where, I like to subtract 1/2" to account for the latches/hinges. Add a few screws and a latch you have yourself a bulletproof baby/doggy gate.

The doors can range anywhere from 20" up to 50" in width and are all a standardized in height at 32", all corners are rounded over so there's a nice smooth surface on them. Finally, when ordering, please send me a message with your opening (I'll subtract that necessary dimension), stain or paint color based on the option you choose. I'll follow up with a confirmation email before I get started. If you're looking for a Dutch Door, just place the order for 2 gates and notate it in the order.
